Job summary

BKF Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Real Estate & Facilities Manager to support the AVP across 25+ offices in California and beyond. You’ll coordinate moves, manage day-to-day facility requests, and ensure cost-effective operations while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in multi-location facilities/real estate, strong organizational skills, vendor management, and the ability to travel across Orange County locations; competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in facilities and/or real estate management.
• Experience coordinating office moves, lease coordination, and vendor management.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations for 25+ locations.
• Serve as primary contact for facility-related requests (maintenance, space assignments, furniture requests).
• Develop and standardize facility procedures across offices.
• Source and manage third-party vendors; negotiate contracts and SLAs.
• Review invoices and manage operating budgets across multiple offices.
• Support safety initiatives and emergency preparedness planning.
• Provide regular reporting on facilities performance, projects, and costs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Business Administration (or related field)
