Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager in Bristol, VA to lead safety initiatives and implement the Global WHS Program. You will conduct risk assessments, analyze safety data, and partner with Operations leadership to embed safety into daily operations while protecting associates and supporting productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global WHS Program implementation and be the site's safety champion.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze safety data to drive improvements.
• Influence Operations leadership to embed safety into daily operations and culture.
• Oversee safety compliance, site audits, and incident trend analyses to target improvements.
• Manage the first aid program and emergency response capabilities at the site.
