Job summary

Oscar is seeking a General Superintendent to provide on-site management across multiple construction project sites, ensuring work aligns with the design, budget, and schedule. The role coordinates with client representatives, AE representatives, and other contractors to drive project success.

The candidate will lead site operations, supervise field staff and craft employees, ensure safety compliance, and implement procedures that optimize productivity, quality, and cost control across all sites.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• Minimum of ten years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience across diverse construction projects.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and cost control schedules.
• Willingness to travel between project sites frequently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction across multiple sites to ensure adherence to design, budget and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions including scheduling, material control, and purchasing.
• Supervise craft employees and contracted teams per contracts across multiple sites.
• Authorize and approve project personnel transactions and field design change requests.
• Provide high-level technical guidance on drawings, methods, and equipment as required.
• Assist management in developing project procedures, standards, and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and safety rules; document violations and implement corrective actions.
• Improve productivity and efficient use of materials and equipment; manage project performance.
• Perform additional duties as directed by senior management.
