Job summary

Summit Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a new acquisition in the Galleria Area of SW Houston. You will lead the on-site maintenance team, manage repairs to the building exterior, grounds, and core systems, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in multi-family maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant certifications. RealPage/Sight Plan experience and budgeting skills are highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a multi-family environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college/trade school preferred.
• Certifications: CAMT, boiler license, EPA, CPO, electrical, plumbing and first aid preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and appliances.
• Basic computer proficiency; RealPage/Sight Plan experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair exterior, grounds, mechanical and plumbing systems as needed.
• Set and maintain schedules for routine maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, painting, turnover.
• Implement and follow a preventive maintenance program.
• Supervise contract work to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Prepare vacated apartments for showing and renting.
• Serve as on-call emergency maintenance contact as scheduled.
• Operate the property within budget and report variations.
• Maintain inventory of tools, furniture and accessories.
• Attend trade association meetings when possible.
