Job summary

Lynd Management Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations of a multifamily property in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will be an experienced technician and leader who delivers quality work, develops employees, and provides prompt service to residents.

Responsibilities include leading the maintenance team, prioritizing work orders, inspecting systems, and coordinating with vendors. On-call duties and strict safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• EPA Type III or Universal certification required.
• Certified Pool Operator certification required.
• Trade school or military technical training is a plus.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, and develop the property's maintenance team.
• Assign and prioritize service requests, make-readies, inspections, and preventive maintenance projects.
• Ensure service requests and apartments are completed correctly and on time.
• Inspect apartments, buildings, grounds, amenities, and mechanical systems regularly.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, water heaters, pool equipment, and other systems.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and records.
• Manage on-call schedule and after-hours emergencies.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor work completed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, equipment, and chemicals.
• Keep shops and areas organized and safe.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safe practices.
• Communicate updates to the Property Manager.
