Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Technician II in New Albany, Ohio to join our operations & maintenance team. The role involves maintaining electrical systems, diagnosing and repairing equipment, reading blueprints, and supporting site engineering to meet electrical needs.

The position requires 3-4 years as an electrician in relevant environments, ability to work at heights, and adherence to safety regulations. It offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• 3 - 4 years’ experience as an electrician in data center, industrial environment, hospital, manufacturing facility or equivalent.
• Ability to work in aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet or higher.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current and future facility electrical systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and control circuits from 24V to 480V AC, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Read schematics/blueprints and assess system operation for tours of systems.
• Adhere to NFPA70e and electrical codes; identify and correct safety issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on process/production equipment per CMMS.
