Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician II to join our operations & maintenance team in Mossville, IL. The role handles intermediate maintenance and troubleshooting on building equipment in a manufacturing environment, including clean rooms, under minimal supervision.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, assist with installing new equipment, and use CMMS to manage work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of maintenance experience in HVAC/Industrial Mechanical/Machine Repair or Automotive Repair.
• Associates degree or trade certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Safely performs functions of the position following safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Operates, maintains, and repairs facility and production equipment in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Analyzes equipment failures, inspects, replaces, and maintains building and production services and related equipment.
• Performs planned maintenance on building equipment for specific area.
• Troubleshoots mechanical equipment including HVAC, pumps, RO/DI water systems, and compressed air systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance inspections.
• Develops and implements maintenance procedures; manages spare parts inventory.
• Assists in installing and servicing new equipment.
• Supports project/renovation work with contractors and engineers.
• Complies with regulations, safety practices, and permit systems.
• Performs CMMS-based preventive maintenance.
• Responds to work orders and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Recommends improvements to maintenance methods and equipment performance.
• Uses diagnostic tools to improve energy efficiency.
• Operates hand tools, laptops, and diagnostic hardware.
• Maintains a flexible schedule to meet customer needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
