Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician II in Lancaster, OH to join our operations and maintenance team. This role provides intermediate expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and repairing fixtures and systems in a critical infrastructure environment.

Under minimal supervision, you will support machine repairs, carpentry, and other trades as needed, ensuring safety and compliance while maintaining equipment performance and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• 3 years of HVAC/R or Facility Maintenance experience in data centers, industrial settings, hospitals, labs, or equivalent.
• Ability to work in aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet or higher.

Responsibilities

• Performs planned maintenance on building equipment and services for assigned area.
• Operates and maintains HVAC equipment and systems.
• Maintains and repairs heating/ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, and compressors.
• Performs preventative maintenance inspections and uses CMMS for work orders.
• Develops maintenance procedures, performs job estimates, and manages spare parts inventory.
• Supports co-workers, contractors, vendors, project managers, and engineers on projects and renovations.
• Follows safety guidelines, codes, and regulatory requirements.
