TeamLogic IT in Lake Forest, CA seeks an experienced MSP Level 2 Technician to deliver advanced technical support and solutions for SMB clients. You will troubleshoot, configure, and maintain hardware and software, ensuring systems are secure and reliable.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, documentation, and collaboration with a team. On-call responsibilities and occasional travel are required, with opportunities for professional growth and certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in an MSP or similar IT support role.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred; relevant certifications desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support to clients, including installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software.
• Respond to and resolve escalated support tickets promptly to minimize downtime.
• Manage and maintain client networks including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Implement and manage security solutions and conduct regular security audits.
• Ensure client data is backed up regularly and develop disaster recovery plans.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and document activities.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of client systems and support activities.
• Assist in planning and executing IT projects within budget and schedule.
• Mentor Level 1 Technicians and provide on-call support for emergencies.
