Bowman Williams, a Houston-based MSP, is seeking a Senior System Administrator. The role combines advanced support with project work across Microsoft 365, AD, servers, networking, and firewall management. Hybrid schedule: 80% remote, 20% onsite.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an MSP or IT service provider environment.
• 7 total years of IT experience.
• Strong foundation in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Experience with Windows Server and workstation support.
• Knowledge of SonicWall and Ubiquiti configurations.
• Solid networking fundamentals including switches and firewalls.
• Excellent communication and client-facing support skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated tickets (Levels 2/3) across a range of technologies.
• Deliver project-based work involving Microsoft 365, AD, and Intune.
• Manage SonicWall firewalls and Ubiquiti network gear deployments.
• Oversee Hyper-V deployments and Intune administration.
• Perform network and server deployments for SMB clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service excellence.
