TeamLogic IT of San Ramon is seeking a Level 3 Senior IT Engineer to serve as the highest technical escalation point on our service delivery team. You will work with a diverse client base across the East Bay and Tri-Valley, architecting cloud migrations, mentoring junior staff, and delivering strategic IT roadmaps.

You’ll manage complex projects, implement cybersecurity controls, and optimize on-premises and cloud environments while maintaining strong client communications and thorough

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive IT experience, including 2–3 years as Level 3/Senior Engineer at an MSP.
• Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Strong hands-on experience with virtualization: Hyper-V and Azure.
• Solid proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Intune.
• Advanced networking skills: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and enterprise firewall management.
• Solid cybersecurity fundamentals, NIST frameworks, and experience with security tools (EDR, SIEM, MFA).
• Hands-on experience with RMM, PSA, and site documentation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to expert to own and resolve the most complex technical escalations from Level 1 and 2 engineers.
• Lead projects by designing and delivering server migrations, cloud deployments (M365, Azure, AWS), and network upgrades.
• Protect clients by implementing cybersecurity solutions including EDR/MDR, SIEM, MFA, email security, and vulnerability management.
• Administer Hyper-V, Windows Server, Active Directory, and M365 environments across client sites.
• Configure firewalls, switches, routers, and VPN solutions (Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki).
• Deliver technology assessments and strategic IT roadmaps to clients.
