Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to cover a Detroit, MI or Cleveland, OH territory. You will connect scientific strategy with neuroscience and mental health communities, engaging in high-quality scientific exchange and gathering field insights.

You will develop scientific relationships, present on TRD/PTSD, and support medical education, advisory boards, and cross-functional initiatives while mentoring junior colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific training and credentials.
• Strong preference for prior MSL experience.
• Background in neuroscience, psychiatry or psychology.
• Ability to travel up to 75% and reside within geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and researchers in neuroscience and mental healthcare within the territory.
• Lead in-depth scientific conversations on disease understanding, research methodology, and emerging evidence in TRD and PTSD.
• Address scientific questions from external stakeholders with accurate medical information.
• Collect, analyze, and communicate medical insights to inform clinical development and strategy.
• Maintain high scientific expertise and contribute to medical education activities and advisory boards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Government Affairs, and Market Access.
• Provide training to sales and marketing teams.
• Senior MSLs: mentor junior MSLs and contribute to medical affairs initiatives.
