Job summary

Compass Pathways Inc. seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison to connect our neuroscience programmes with the broader medical community. Based in the United States and field-based across major markets, you will develop and manage a geographic territory, engaging in high-quality scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals and researchers.

The Sr. MSL will mentor junior colleagues, support medical education initiatives, and ensure compliance across all field activities while collaborating

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific training with credentials (PhD/MD/PharmD/PMHNP) or equivalent.
• Previous MSL experience strongly preferred.
• Background in neuroscience, psychiatry, or psychology is advantageous.
• Ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scientifically grounded relationships with HCPs, researchers, and thought leaders across neuroscience and mental healthcare in the territory.
• Lead in-depth scientific conversations on disease understanding, research methods, and emerging evidence in TRD and PTSD.
• Respond to unsolicited requests with accurate, balanced medical information.
• Collect and communicate medical insights to internal stakeholders to inform clinical development and strategy.
• Maintain scientific expertise in therapeutic areas, landscape, and research trends.
• Plan and execute medical education activities, advisory boards, and congress engagements.
• Uphold ethical, regulatory, and compliance requirements in field medical activities.
• Collaborate with internal partners (Clinical Development, Government Affairs, Market Access).
• Provide training to sales and marketing teams.
• Senior MSLs: mentor junior staff and contribute to medical affairs initiatives.
