Zusammenfassung

TÜV SÜD Group is seeking a Senior Lab Engineer, MRI Safety, to lead MRI safety testing programs for medical devices and implants in a regulatory environment. You will guide test design, protocols, and instrument configurations, influencing project outcomes and customer discussions.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop advanced testing methods, contribute to lab capabilities, and ensure high-quality engineering reports and deliverables.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Medical Device Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering, testing, or laboratory experience in a regulated technical environment.
• Experience interpreting complex technical data and preparing engineering reports.
• Experience leading technical projects and coordinating multiple project priorities.

Aufgaben

• Plan, execute, analyze, and document MRI safety testing programs for medical devices and implants.
• Develop test protocols based on device design, use, and standards.
• Perform MRI safety assessments including RF heating and MRI artifact evaluations.
• Configure instrumentation, phantoms, fixtures and measurement systems.
• Analyze data, investigate deviations, provide conclusions and recommendations.
• Support customer meetings and discussions on testing strategies and regulatory expectations.
