Zusammenfassung

TUV SUD America is seeking a Senior Lab Engineer, MRI Safety to lead MRI safety testing programs for medical devices and implants in the MR environment. You will develop test protocols, oversee complex testing, and provide expert guidance to customers and lab staff.

This full-time role requires a 5+ year engineering background, a relevant technical degree, strong data analysis, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering, testing, or laboratory experience in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering analysis and testing methodologies.
• Experience interpreting complex technical data and preparing engineering reports.
• Experience leading technical projects and coordinating multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Plan, execute, analyze, and document MRI safety testing programs for devices and implants.
• Develop test protocols and determine configurations based on device design and standards.
• Perform MRI safety assessments including RF heating, magnetically induced effects, and image artifacts.
• Configure and validate instrumentation, phantoms, fixtures, and measurement systems.
• Analyze data, investigate unexpected results, and provide conclusions and recommendations.
• Serve as SME and guidance to engineers and project teams.
• Review test protocols, analyses, and reports for accuracy and quality.
• Participate in customer meetings and discuss product designs and regulatory expectations.
• Support quotation development with technical input and testing recommendations.
• Contribute to new testing methods and laboratory capabilities.
