TÜV SÜD America, Inc. is seeking a Manager for the MRI Safety Laboratory in New Brighton, MN. You will lead strategic and technical directions, oversee operations, and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality MRI safety testing for medical devices.

This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with global teams, customers, and partners to grow capabilities and services. Hybrid onsite work with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline related to the role.
• Experience managing technical programs or engineering teams in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of medical device testing and quality systems.
• Experience with MRI safety testing or imaging technologies is preferred.
• Proven leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication with customers, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, operational, and technical direction of the MRI Safety Laboratory.
• Oversee laboratory operations, personnel, and quality compliance.
• Engage with medical device manufacturers and global partners to support MRI safety testing solutions.
• Manage project prioritization, resource planning, and capacity management.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, ISO/IEC 17025, and TÜV SÜD systems.
• Drive business growth through customer-facing technical discussions and opportunities.
