Job summary

TUV SUD America is seeking a Manager, MRI Safety Laboratory in New Brighton, Minnesota to lead the strategic and operational direction of the MRI Safety Laboratory. You will oversee laboratory operations, personnel, quality systems, and customer engagement to support growth.

You will collaborate with medical device manufacturers, internal teams, and global partners to advance MRI safety testing services, ensure ISO/IEC 17025 compliance, and drive innovation while mentoring engineers and shaping

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Physics).
• Experience leading technical programs, lab operations, or engineering teams in regulated settings.
• Strong knowledge of medical device testing, quality systems, and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the MRI Safety Laboratory with focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Mentor engineers and manage resource planning, project prioritization, and capacity.
• Provide technical oversight of MRI safety testing programs and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, ISO/IEC 17025 and internal quality systems.
