Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking a Senior Claims Representative - Professional Liability for a fully remote, permanent position in the United States. The role focuses on managing MPL claims, both litigated and non-litigated, and requires strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ MPL claims experience, EPL/E&O exposure is a plus, and a Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience handling professional liability claims.
• 2 years managing active MPL claims, litigated or non-litigated.
• At least 1 year of experience handling a litigated desk.
• EPL or E&O experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active desk of MPL claims, litigated and non-litigated.
• Evaluate coverage issues and reserve accuracy.
• Oversee litigation with experts and defense counsel.
• Develop settlement strategies and authority levels.
• Participate in mediations and other resolution activities.
• Maintain adjuster licenses and regulatory compliance.
• Document claim files per guidelines.
• Manage allocated loss adjustment expenses with billing unit.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Occasionally travel for mediations and trials.
