Job summary
Jacobs is seeking a Sr. Movable Bridge Engineer in the United States to lead electrical design for rehabilitation and new movable bridge projects across the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will have a PE, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and 15+ years of movable bridge electrical experience.
You will supervise design teams, provide technical direction, and ensure quality through innovative solutions while developing client-ready reports and cost estimates. Hybrid work options are available.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET-EAC Accredited) required.
- PE license in the US required.
- 15+ years of movable bridge electrical engineering experience.
- Experience with movable bridge electrical design and inspection.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on movable bridge projects.
- Perform bridge inspections and develop rehabilitation strategies.
- Prepare contract drawings, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates.
- Develop preliminary CAD details and coordinate with CAD technicians.
- Mentor and lead junior engineers on project teams.
- Develop technical reports and client communications.
