Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr. Movable Bridge Engineer to lead electrical design for rehabilitation and new movable bridge projects across the US and Canada. The role requires 15+ years in movable bridge electrical engineering, PE licensure in the US, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Hybrid work policy enables split weeks between Jacobs offices and remote locations. Base salary ranges from $160,000 to $235,000 with comprehensive benefits, 401(k), stock options, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET-EAC Accredited Degree) is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) in the US.
• 15+ years of mov able bridge Electrical Engineering experience.
• Experience with movable bridge electrical design and rehabilitation projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction on movable bridge projects.
• Lead electrical design for rehabilitation and new movable bridge projects across the US and Canada.
• Perform inspections and assess condition of electrical equipment/systems.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and cost estimates.
• Mentor engineers and support project team communications.
