The State of Louisiana's Office of Motor Vehicles seeks a Motor Vehicle Manager 2 to lead the Document Management Unit and Inventory Management Section at Headquarters Services. This role directs motor vehicle and driver records, imaging/storage, license plate inventory, forms, and related operations while ensuring compliance and confidentiality.

Qualificações

• Six years of experience in the administration or enforcement of state driver's license or motor vehicle laws.
• High school diploma or equivalent; substitution: college hours may substitute for experience.
• May require a current Louisiana driver's license at the time of appointment.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the operations of the Document Management Unit, imaging and storage of records.
• Oversee statewide license plate, decal inventory and OMV forms.
• Ensure accuracy, security and availability of official records for licensing and law enforcement.
• Supervise staff, establish standards, monitor production and evaluate performance.
• Develop procedures, priorities, allocate resources and monitor budgets.
• Coordinate vendor contracts, RFIs/RFPs, equipment installations and imaging projects.
• Participate in legislative activities and fiscal impact information preparation.
• Support grant-funded programs and act as project director for federal reporting.
• Serve as Deputy Custodian of Records and certify OMV records when required.
• Maintain relationships with agencies and represent OMV at meetings and conferences.
• Provide technical, statistical and operational information to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with OMV policies and state/federal laws.
