Job summary

Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) in Tallahassee, FL, is seeking a Records Specialist to assist with motorist services and record information requests. You will research driver history and motor vehicle records, using multiple agency systems and processes to ensure accurate results.

The role includes calculating and posting record fees, maintaining filing systems, and delivering professional customer service to internal and external customers in a state government

Qualifications

• Experience researching and responding to information requests from driver history and records.
• Ability to use multiple agency systems such as IRIS, CCIS, NDR and CSC Expert System.
• Experience calculating and posting record fees using the Cash Receipt System.

Responsibilities

• Provide information on driver license, driver history, and motor vehicle records.
• Research information using National Drivers Registry, IRIS, CCIS and other sources.
• Calculate, process and post record fees and payments.
• Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
