RTX is seeking junior engineers to support the design and test of electronic products and systems, focusing on circuit cards and power electronics. This role is onsite in the Tucson area with a DoD security clearance requirement.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree and hands-on lab experience; training is provided for defense-related projects and career growth within Raytheon's EAP team.

Competenze

• Requires a STEM degree with strong electronics background; 5+ years experience or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with motor types: Brushed, BLDC, PMSM is a plus.
• Proficiency with analytical tools (MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica).
• Experience in analog electronics design: FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters, terminations, comparators.
• Lab experience using oscilloscopes, DMMs, frequency generators, PSUs, DAQ systems.

Mansioni

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry with emphasis on three-phase inverter designs.
• Draft and design at circuit-card level; guide card development through phases.
• Ensure design meets schedule; set circuit-level tasking timelines.
• Coordinate with ECAD drafters on layout and routing; assist in layer stackup definition.
• Support design from requirements through initial integration testing.
