Job summary

RTX is seeking junior engineers to support the design and test of electronic products and systems, with a focus on circuit cards and power electronics. You will work onsite in Tucson, AZ, contributing to motor-control designs and sensor interfaces, while growing technical skills in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 5+ years experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with motor types such as Brushed, BLDC, PMSM is a plus.
• Proficient in MATLAB/MathCAD/Mathematica for analysis and simulation.
• Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, test, and document power conversion and analog circuitry.
• Draft and design at circuit card level and support ECAD layout.
• Ensure circuit development from requirements through integration testing.
• Meet schedules and define tasking for circuit-level work.
• Guide ECAD drafters through layout decisions and layer definitions.
