Job summary

ABB is seeking a senior attorney to provide strategic legal counsel and manage risks across international regulatory matters. This role reports to the Monm Division General Counsel and supports a range of stakeholders, including commercial, sales, finance, HR, EHS, and supply chain.

Remote work is available in the US, with responsibilities spanning EPC contracts, government contracting, IP, and data privacy. The candidate must have 10+ PQE and a U.S. law license to practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school with active bar admission.
• 10+ years PQE with exposure to international legal, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Expertise in contract law and negotiation including EPC/project contracts, distribution, government contracting, IP, and digital law.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end legal support for project business activities, including EPC contracts from tender through negotiation, execution, dispute resolution, and closure.
• Advise internal stakeholders (commercial, sales, finance, HR, EHS, supply chain) to ensure compliance and protect company interests.
• Manage legal risk across areas such as competition law, data privacy (GDPR), product liability, employment, investigations, claims, and litigation support.
• Contribute to integrity initiatives and broader legal projects, supporting investigations, policy adherence, and participation in regional and global Legal & Integrity teams.
