Job summary

APAC-AL, Inc., a CRH Company, is seeking an individual to support traffic control on construction sites across Alabama. The role involves coordinating with project managers, delivering equipment, and maintaining records related to MOT operations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and be current with Advanced MOT certification. Proficiency with Word and Excel is expected to document activities and communicate effectively with superintendents and crews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior MOT and Advanced MOT certification required.
• Must be computer literate to include Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project manager with a variety of duties associated with traffic control.
• Deliver necessary equipment to all job sites and locations using truck and trailer.
• Keep records of delivery of both time and equipment.
• Will coordinate with the superintendents on jobs.
• Will be responsible for Maintenance of Traffic coordination and set-up.
• Will work in very close proximity to traffic (including Interstate).
• Will be required to work from a moving vehicle regularly.
• Will place cones and barrels as required to maintain the flow of traffic.
• Will be responsible for maintaining all cones and barrels properly placed during production - checking for knocked over cones and barrels.
• Will be responsible for the completion of all paperwork related to MOT.
• Will maintain safety of projects by maintaining drop-offs, potholes, etc.
