BMO Financial Group is seeking a senior Mortgage Underwriter in the United States to adjudicate complex credit applications and guide lending decisions. You will analyze income, cash flow, and collateral while ensuring compliance with mortgage policies and regulatory requirements.

Role requires strong experience with DU/LP and risk assessment, and the ability to manage pipeline while delivering timely credit decisions in collaboration with the team.

Formación

• 8+ years mortgage underwriting experience.
• FHA and VA knowledge and guidelines.
• Experience with web-based approval systems (DU/LP).
• In-depth pipeline management and risk evaluation.
• Ability to analyze complex income sources and cash flow.
• Knowledge of credit policies and lending principles.

Responsabilidades

• Adjudicates new credit applications within defined limits or recommends products.
• Analyses data and informs decisions with insights and recommendations.
• Provides guidance to assigned business groups on solutions implementation.
• Monitors performance, addresses issues, and supports program rollout.
• Keeps up-to-date with policies, regulations, and product knowledge.
• Contacts customers to clarify information and documents required.
