Job summary

First American seeks a Mortgage Default Servicing Specialist to manage a high‑risk portfolio, oversee foreclosure and bankruptcy timeliness, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws. You will coordinate with counsel and internal teams to move files through early and later stage default tasks.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Mortgage Litigation or Servicing, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with MSP and LoanSphere.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of directly related Mortgage Litigation or Mortgage Servicing experience.
• Experience with foreclosure and bankruptcy processes preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with counsel and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-risk mortgage portfolios and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee foreclosure, bankruptcy, and escalated activities per laws.
• Coordinate with counsel on legal proceedings and milestones.
• Review files to meet timeframes and maintain record accuracy.
