First American seeks an experienced Default Loan Servicing Specialist to manage high-risk mortgage portfolios, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws while coordinating with attorneys, investors and trustees. You will handle foreclosure, bankruptcy and related proceedings, track deadlines, and monitor portfolios to minimize risk.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in Mortgage Litigation, Mortgage Servicing or Title Resolution, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Paralegal degree/certificate preferred.
• College preferred for advancement in legal/financial roles.
• 3+ years of directly related experience in Mortgage Litigation, Mortgage Servicing, Mortgage Title Resolution, legal and/or financial.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-risk mortgage portfolios to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee counsel's legal proceedings and milestones in jurisdiction.
• Process foreclosure and bankruptcy activities per state/federal laws and investor guidelines.
• Coordinate with mortgagors, attorneys, investors, insurers, and trustees throughout default processes.
• Review filings to ensure timely default timeframes and accuracy.
