Job summary

First American is seeking a Sr. Collections Specialist to manage complex loss mitigation and collections activities as the SPOC for borrowers. You will analyze financials, negotiate payment solutions, and ensure compliance with investor and regulatory requirements.

Requires strong negotiation, excellent communication, and 3+ years of collections or mortgage servicing experience. This remote role offers EST hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred; typically requires 3 years' experience in collections, loss mitigation or mortgage servicing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for loss mitigation and collections inquiries.
• Perform inbound and outbound collection calls to resolve delinquent accounts.
• Analyze borrower financials to determine retention or liquidation options.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of all interactions and activity.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing complex account issues, discrepancies, and disputes.
• Review accounts to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
