Job summary

First American is seeking an experienced mortgage default servicing specialist to manage a high risk portfolio. You will coordinate with counsel, ensure timely foreclosure, bankruptcy, and related proceedings while adhering to all laws and investor guidelines.

Responsibilities include reviewing files, guiding mortgagors, attorneys, and others through the process, and monitoring performance. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct mortgage litigation/servicing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• MSP and LoanSphere experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage high risk mortgage portfolio ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Oversee counsel’s legal proceedings and ensure milestones are met.
• Service mortgage accounts through foreclosure and bankruptcy processes in compliance with laws.
