Job summary

CommunityAmerica Federal Credit Union is seeking a Sr. Mortgage Advisor to serve as the residential mortgage expert within our branch network.

You will guide members through the financing process and align lending products with their long-term goals. In this role, you will manage internal referrals, develop external relationships, and maintain clear communication with borrowers and partners to ensure a smooth pre-approval to closing experience.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication, public speaking, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Mortgage Loan Origination Systems, automated underwriting systems, and CRM tools.
• Knowledge of real estate regs including RESPA, TRID, Fair Housing and FCRA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary mortgage point of contact for assigned branches and collaborate with branch staff.
• Follow up on internal leads and cross-sell opportunities from branch personnel.
• Educate branch staff on mortgage products, promotions, and qualification criteria.
