Job summary

CommunityAmerica Federal Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Outside Sales Assistant to support mortgage origination for a dedicated loan officer. You will coordinate applications, collect member documents, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the process.

The role requires knowledge of real estate requirements, strong sales aptitude, and the ability to communicate effectively in writing and oral form.

Qualifications

A four-year college degree is desirable but not required, plus mortgage origination experience.
Appropriate experience may be substituted for the above requirements.
Knowledge of real estate law and title insurance.
Extensive knowledge of regulations governing real estate, including Reg B, Reg C, Reg X and Reg Z, and the Fair Housing Act.

Responsibilities

Coordinates the origination of mortgage loan applications and assists in the consummation of their ultimate closing.
Facilitates data entry of mortgage applications in the origination system and collects member documentation.
Determines the member's financial needs and the appropriate mortgage product.
Cross-sell the credit union's full suite of financial products to drive member growth.
Work with title companies to obtain preliminary costs and ensure disclosures are complete and accurate.
