Job summary

Schneider Electric United States is seeking an experienced E-House Solution Architect to lead the development of modular power infrastructure solutions for utilities, industrials, renewables, and data centers. You will translate complex requirements into integrated E-House architectures, balancing technical performance, cost, and manufacturability.

This role requires collaboration with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to deliver differentiated solutions while managing risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in power systems, substations, or modular power infrastructure.
• Experience designing or supporting E-House, modular substations, or packaged subsystems.
• Experience with customers, EPCs, utilities, or industrial end users.
• Experience supporting technical proposals, bids, or pre-sales.
• Strong understanding of structural, mechanical, and environmental aspects of modular power infrastructure.
• Knowledge of HVAC, environmental controls, and safety systems used in critical power infrastructure.
• Familiarity with industry standards (NEMA, IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA) and building codes.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements, workshops, design reviews, and solution validation discussions.
• Act as trusted advisor to utilities, EPCs, industrial customers, and data center operators.
• Translate requirements into integrated E-House architectures balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Define modular power infrastructure solutions including electrical, structural, mechanical, HVAC, safety, automation, and digital systems.
• Develop E-House concepts with layouts, transportation strategies, lifting, and environmental controls.
• Evaluate equipment placement, weight distribution, cable routing, maintenance, and load paths.
• Architect HVAC and environmental controls for reliable operation of critical equipment.
• Support integration of SCADA, protection and control systems, and digital power architectures.
• Lead technical development for proposals, bids, and tender opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to differentiate solutions and assess risks.
