Job summary
Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced E-House Solution Architect to lead the development of integrated modular power infrastructure solutions for utility, industrial, renewable energy, data center, mining, and infrastructure customers.
The role acts as the technical authority during engagements, translating requirements into scalable E-House solutions that are technically sound, manufacturable, and commercially viable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, power systems or related engineering.
- Minimum 10 years in power systems, substations, E-House solutions, modular power infrastructure, or related industries.
- Designing or supporting E-House, modular substation, packaged substation, PDC/IPC solutions.
- Experience working with customers, EPCs, utilities, or industrial end users.
- Experience supporting technical proposals, bids, tendering activities or pre-sales development.
- Strong understanding of structural and mechanical considerations for modular power infrastructure (transportation, lifting, seismic, load analysis, thermal management).
- Knowledge of HVAC, environmental controls, and safety systems in critical power infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of standards such as NEMA, IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA and applicable building codes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel ~25–50%.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical customer engagements, workshops, reviews, and solution validation discussions.
- Act as trusted advisor to utilities, EPCs, industrial clients, data center operators, and infrastructure groups.
- Translate requirements into integrated E-House architectures balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, and transportability.
- Define complete modular power infrastructure solutions across electrical, structural, mechanical, HVAC, safety, automation, and digital systems.
- Develop E-House concepts including layouts, transport strategies, lifting, and installation considerations.
- Evaluate equipment placement, weight, cable routing, access, maintainability, and load paths.
- Architect HVAC and environmental controls for reliable operation of electrical equipment.
- Support integration of fire detection/suppression and environmental monitoring systems.
- Lead solution development for proposals, bids, and tender opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales, tendering, engineering, manufacturing, and project teams.
- Assess risks across technical, commercial, operational and execution domains.
- Define integration of SCADA, PLC, comms and digital power architectures.
- Support PoC initiatives, pilots and demonstrations for new tech.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards and customer specs.
- Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
