Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United States seeks a seasoned electrical engineering leader to drive E-House design, power distribution, protection and control systems, and the delivery of complex electrical infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning.

You will own the technical scope, guide multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with customers and stakeholders, and ensure safety, quality, schedule and budget throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in power systems engineering, electrical infrastructure, or technical leadership roles.
• Proven success leading large, complex projects across multiple business units and stakeholders.
• Experience with E-House solutions, substations, MV/LV equipment, control systems, and power distribution.
• Experience supporting project execution from design through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams through design, execution, testing, and commissioning of E-House projects.
• Own the overall technical solution and ensure successful execution across all project phases.
• Validate scope, interfaces, assumptions, and deliverables.
• Monitor execution to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and standards compliance.
• Identify risks and drive corrective actions through resolution.
• Provide technical oversight for layouts, distribution, protection, automation, switchgear, and transformers.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, drawings, and specs.
• Drive value engineering to enhance safety, reliability, manufacturability, maintainability, and customer value.
• Manage design changes through change control.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customers; engage with PMs, architects, sales, and engineering.
• Support sales during development; prepare evaluations and scope definitions.
