Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced E-House Solution Architect to lead the development of integrated modular power infrastructure solutions for utilities, industrials, renewables, data centers, mining, and infrastructure customers. You will act as the technical authority in customer engagements, translating requirements into scalable, manufacturable, and cost-effective E-House solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in power systems, substations, E-House solutions, modular power infrastructure, electrical distribution, or related industries.
Experience designing, architecting, or supporting E-House, modular substation, packaged substation, PDC, IPC, or similar modular infrastructure solutions.
Experience working directly with customers, EPCs, utilities, or industrial end users.
Experience supporting technical proposals, bids, tendering activities, or pre-sales solution development.
Strong understanding of structural and mechanical considerations for modular power infrastructure, including transportation, lifting, rigging, seismic design, load analysis, thermal management, and constructability.
Knowledge of HVAC systems, environmental controls, and safety systems used in critical power infrastructure.
Working knowledge of standards such as NEMA, IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, and building codes.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders.
Willingness to travel approximately 25–50%.

Responsibilities

Lead technical engagements, workshops, design reviews, and solution validation discussions.
Translate customer requirements into integrated E-House architectures balancing technical, commercial, manufacturability, and transport considerations.
Define complete modular power infrastructure solutions including electrical, structural, mechanical, HVAC, safety, automation, and digital systems.
Develop E-House concepts including equipment layouts, structural designs, transportation strategies, lifting methodologies, and installation considerations.
Evaluate equipment placement, weight distribution, cable routing, access requirements, maintainability, and load paths.
Architect HVAC and environmental control solutions for reliable operation of critical electrical equipment.
Support integration of fire detection, suppression, safety, and environmental monitoring systems.
Lead technical solution development for proposals, bids, and tender opportunities.
Collaborate with sales, tendering, engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to create differentiated solutions.
Assess risks and define integration of SCADA, PLC, communication, automation, and digital power architectures.
Support proof-of-concept initiatives, pilots, and demonstrations for new technologies.
Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and customer specifications.
