Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer - Modeling Simulation & Analysis to develop high‑fidelity simulations for missile design and flight testing.

You will work with GNC, signal processing, and other teams to build, validate, and apply models critical to program success. The role requires a degree in a STEM field with at least 5 years of experience, strong C/C++ and Python/MATLAB skills, and the ability to obtain an interim DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant prior experience.
• Experience with object-oriented C/C++ software programming; strong modeling background.

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies evaluating system performance.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other teams to perform simulations per schedule.
• Work across programs to develop approaches and provide guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Interact with government counterparts as an authority on simulation products.
