Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer - Modeling Simulation & Analysis to join our Tucson, AZ team onsite. You will build high-fidelity simulations for missile design, perform trade studies, and work across GNC, signal processing, and test disciplines.

You will develop modeling solutions, guide junior engineers, and ensure timely deliverables across the product lifecycle. A STEM degree and 5+ years in modeling or analysis, with C/C++ and Python/MATLAB experience, are required; interim clearance

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with C/C++ programming.
• Experience with Python or MATLAB for data analysis.
• Experience modeling, simulating, and/or analysis of physical systems.

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions, and conduct trade studies evaluating system performance.
• Collaborate with team supervisors and guide junior members as needed.
• Coordinate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other performance personnel to perform simulation activities per schedule.
• Lead projects from concept to fielded product and provide guidance throughout the lifecycle.
