Job summary

The ASPCA’s Mobile Veterinary Services in Los Angeles County seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician Staff and Flow Manager to direct clinic workflow, assist veterinarians, and ensure high-quality care for cats and dogs during HQHVSN and preventive visits.

This full-time, 10-hour day, 4-days-a-week role offers competitive compensation ($44.24–$46.64/hour), a signing bonus, a strong benefits package, and opportunities to train and lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must have current California State Registered Veterinary Technician License.
• Graduated from an accredited school of veterinary science technology (2 or 4 year program) or equivalent.
• Minimum five years experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician in small animal medicine; shelter medicine preferred.
• Minimum two years people management experience.
• English (required); Spanish language skills.
• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds and stand 10+ hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of veterinary technician functions including venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation and assistance, diagnostics, pharmacy and patient recovery.
• Support HQHVSN and PPC for cats and dogs alongside veterinarians and staff.
• Manage workflow and daily patient load; maintain safety and low-stress handling.
• Lead training and onboarding of staff; participate in mobile clinic operations.
