Zusammenfassung

The ASPCA is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician Staff and Flow Manager for its Mobile Clinics in the Greater LA area. This full-time role supports HQHVSN and routine preventive care, directing workflow and assisting veterinarians throughout the day.

You will partner with a mobile leadership team to optimize patient flow, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care while meeting CM protocols and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of veterinary science technology (2 or 4 year program) or the equivalent as determined by the California State Education Department
• Minimum five years experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician in small animal medicine and surgery; shelter medicine experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds repeatedly and stand 10+ hours daily

Aufgaben

• Perform a broad range of veterinary technician functions including venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep and assistance, diagnostics, pharmacy and patient recovery
• Work with staff veterinarians, technicians, and assistants to support HQHVSN and PPC for cats and dogs
• Use low-stress handling to provide a safe, compassionate environment for animals and clients
• Oversee workflow to maximize patient care and clinic efficiency
• Coach and develop nursing staff to uphold ASPCA CM SOPs and guidelines
• Ensure staff follow DEA regulations for controlled drugs and maintain accurate logs
