Job summary

The ASPCA’s Community Medicine team seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician Staff and Flow Manager for our mobile clinics in the Greater LA area. You will direct daily workflow, assist veterinarians, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care for cats and dogs in underserved communities.

You will work a roughly 10-hour day, four days a week, with potential shifts beyond schedule. A signing bonus of $1,000 and a retention bonus after one year are included; healthcare and retirement benefits are

Qualifications

• CA RVT license required
• Strong communication with clients and team
• Ability to lead workflow and adapt to mobile clinics
• Commitment to animal welfare and community outreach

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate flow of medical tasks across the team
• Assist veterinarians with procedures, anesthesia monitoring and recovery
• Provide compassionate, low-stress handling for cats and dogs
• Communicate effectively with clients and document patient history
• Support staffing, scheduling and daily clinic operations
• Ensure compliance with CM procedures and safety protocols
