Job summary

The ASPCA Mobile Veterinary Services is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician Staff and Flow Manager to direct workflow, support veterinarians, and communicate with clients across ASPCA mobile clinics in the Greater Los Angeles area. This full-time role entails 10-hour days, four days a week (Mon–Fri), with occasional longer days based on needs.

You will work closely with management to optimize care delivery, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality patient care while adhering to CM SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must have current California State Registered Veterinary Technician License.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
• Desire to serve clients in a kind, helpful and nonjudgmental manner.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Strong interest in animal welfare and serving underserved communities.
• Must possess excellent animal handling skills.
• Must be able to lift and carry 40-plus pounds repeatedly throughout the day with assistance.
• Must possess the ability to work standing for 10 or more hours.
• Ability to work and learn to drive ASPCA Mobile Clinics (training provided).
• Must provide a valid driver’s license on hire.

Responsibilities

• Medical/Flow Management: perform veterinary tech duties, venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep and assistance, diagnosis, pharmacy, patient recovery.
• Floor Management: oversee workflow, maximize daily patients, supervise staff, coach and support team.
• Training: onboard new nursing staff, provide ongoing skills training and coaching.
• People Management & Operations: lead, schedule, manage time, attend daily huddles, support Mobile Leadership Team.
