Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III in Georgia to perform preventative maintenance, major repairs, and advanced diagnostics on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role includes training new technicians and participating in on-call rotations if needed.

Responsibilities include inspecting orders, ensuring quality, and providing safety-focused service in a shop and field setting. A CDL and hand tools are often required; a diesel tech background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diesel technology knowledge and welding experience a plus.
• Must have valid driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and major repairs on heavy-duty trucks.
• Diagnose vehicle system failures and recommend repairs.
• Train new technicians on company procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with safety standards.
