Job summary

FleetPride, the leading heavy-duty truck and trailer parts distributor in the U.S., seeks a Mobile Technician III in Alabama. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose complex systems, and train junior technicians.

The role includes shop work between service calls and occasional on-call rotation for the location. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of class 7-8 repair experience, diesel engine expertise, and strong diagnostics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience repairing Class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diesel engine repair and preventive maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license; CDL Class A preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunction.
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions.
• Perform oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements.
• Repair, rel ine, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric).
• Test drive vehicles and components using proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot suspension, electrical, exhaust, and A/C systems.
• Overhaul and repair diesel and gasoline engines.
• Review service orders for completion and quality.
