Job summary

OXIO is seeking a seasoned Mobile Telecom Support Engineer to strengthen its telecom team. This hands-on role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalating real-time core network issues, collaborating with the core engineering team and Level 1/2 support groups to keep services running smoothly.

You will maintain and improve the network, develop dashboards, and provide NOC support, fault investigation, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a telecom environment with L3 support or similar roles.
• Signalling analysis across 2G/3G/4G/VoLTE networks.
• Strong knowledge of OSI, TCP/IP (IPv4/IPv6).
• Experience analyzing signalling traces with Wireshark.
• SS7 signalling troubleshooting experience.
• Proficiency with Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch.
• Basic Python and Linux/Bash scripting.
• Willingness to work on a 24/7 on-call roster.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate real-time core network or infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with global operators and internal teams to perform live tests and root-cause analysis.
• Create on-demand dashboards to track metrics and validate service restoration.
• Provide technical support to NOC engineers and telecom escalation groups.
• Represent the telecom team in interactions with MNOs.
