Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet Services is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel & Trailer Mechanic to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex diagnostics on mobile fleets. You will operate in a field environment, ensure safety, and support customers with expert repairs.

Typical shift is days, Monday–Friday, with remote work eligibility in specified US regions. Strong tool skills and ASE/DOT compliance are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and PMs on mobile fleets.
• Ability to diagnose and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile fleet.
• Diagnose and repair trailers and trucks in a field setting.
• Maintain conformity with safety, DOT, and company policies.
