Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics and complex mechanical repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will manage parts, maintain safety checks, and document RO activity via TRAIT on an iOS device.

The role requires independent scheduling, strong diagnostics, and adherence to DOT regulations; 100% travel may be required, with remote work allowed within approved regions.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years related experience.
• ASE certifications preferred and DOT/FMCSA compliance training.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy‑duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical/Brake/Cooling systems and engines.
• Road test vehicles to verify proper operation after repairs.
