Job summary

Cox Fleet, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel & Trailer Mechanic in Waco, TX. The role covers PMs, DOT inspections, and advanced diagnostics on trucks and trailers in a mobile/field environment.

You will inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems, while managing parts and documenting work for RO records. Safety and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' related experience, or equivalent mix of education/experience.
• 3+ years with refrigerated equipment preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and DOT inspections on light–heavy vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Document work using RO forms via company app and manage parts on the service truck.
