Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Senior Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs and complex repairs on mobile/onsite fleets. You will diagnose, repair and test electrical, hydraulic, cooling, and propulsion systems across light to heavy-duty vehicles.

You will manage parts, capture RO data on TRAIT, and ensure safety compliance. Join a nationwide service network with entry to lead on jobsites and coordinate with customers to deliver high-quality maintenance services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience or higher education/certifications.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine and drivetrain systems on trucks.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Document findings and parts used on Repair Orders using TRAIT app.
• Maintain and operate service vehicle and conduct safety checks.
